The grand 125 years celebration of Adventism in Ghana saw many church members and invited guests at the Baba Yara Stadium on the 26th October 2013.
Some of the invited persons were the Ashanti Regional Minister in the person of Hon. Eric Opoku and his deputy, the Bible society northern sector director, military chaplain in charge of northern command, the regional police chaplain and heads of other denominational churches.
GTV and KKTV were there for television coverage. Many radio station presenters were also present to cover the event. Both the church choirs and Singing bands who sang during the occasion did marvellously well.
The program was organized by both the Central and South Central Ghana Conferences. The theme for the occasion was “Proclaiming and living the gospel message”. Pastor Larmie, the Union President, did the sermon for the day; a very powerful sermon.
